Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 5-10 years of experience, specializing in integration platforms like Boomi or Mulesoft. You will be crucial in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust integration solutions, focusing on API design, development, and ensuring the reliability of data flows. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to best practices in an enterprise environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain complex integration applications using Mulesoft Anypoint Studio or configure and manage integrations within the Boomi platform.

- Design comprehensive API specifications and implement robust API designs following best practices for RESTful and SOAP services.

- Perform thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, performance, and accuracy of integrations.

- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural best practices.

- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business analysts and other development teams, to understand and translate complex integration requirements into technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Document API designs, integration flows, and troubleshooting guides for future reference and knowledge transfer.

- Assist in the deployment and monitoring of integration solutions in various environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-10 years of experience in Java development.

- Strong hands-on experience in developing integration applications with either Mulesoft (using Anypoint Studio) or Boomi.

- Proficiency in API specifications (RAML, OpenAPI/Swagger) and implementing API designs.

- Deep understanding of REST and SOAP web services.

- Experience with unit testing and debugging tools and methodologies for integration solutions.

- Familiarity with code review processes and best practices.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex integration challenges.

- Knowledge of database integration techniques (SQL, JDBC).

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

Preferred Qualifications :

- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

- Mulesoft or Boomi certifications (MuleSoft Certified Developer, Boomi Professional Developer).

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for asynchronous integrations.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of integration solutions.
