Senior Java Developer - Banking Domain

What Youll Do :

- Design and implement scalable, high-volume, low-latency APIs

- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product teams through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support

- Translate complex business problems into clean, efficient code

- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and peer reviews

- Contribute to improving development processes and coding standards

- Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes proactively

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership

What You Bring :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development

- Deep understanding of Java fundamentals :

1. Immutability

2. Collections Framework

3. Object references & memory management

- Proficiency in algorithm design, logical reasoning, and data structures

- Practical experience applying design patterns and system architecture principles

- Experience with API design and patterns (REST, OpenAPI, API Gateway)Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices

- Familiarity with NoSQL/RDBMS : MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle

- Experience with stream-processing systems : Apache Kafka, Amazon SQS, Google Pub/Sub

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure)

- Understanding of PCI Compliance Standards and HSMs (e.g., Thales)

- Exposure to ISO8583 message formats and payment systems is a plus

- Agile mindset with working knowledge of Scrum and estimation practices

- English fluency at Upper-Intermediate (B2+) level
