Senior Java Developer Global Markets Technology - Rates Electronic Trade Capture team

Location: Powai, Mumbai

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer for a leading global financial services organization. The role is part of the Global Markets Technology Rates Electronic Trade Capture team, responsible for building and maintaining high-performance electronic trading applications.

About the Role:

This is a senior individual contributor position in a global technology setup. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact trading systems in collaboration with international teams across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain large-scale electronic trade processing applications

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient solutions

- Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality code within timelines

- Ensure best coding practices and reduce technical debt

- Support production issues, testing, and integration with global stakeholders

Mandatory Skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring

- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns

- Expertise with Tibco EMS / RV / IBM MQ / Solace / Apache Pulsar

- In-depth knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management

- Proficiency with RDBMS such as Sybase or Oracle

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Experience working in global, cross-regional development teams

Desirable Skills :

- Knowledge of electronic Rates trading

- Experience with Apache Camel

- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Build Environments

- Exposure to Investment Banking technology

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
