Role : Senior Java Developer ATG (Oracle Commerce)

Location : Trivandrum

Experience : 7 to 9 Years

Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong ATG (Oracle Commerce) experience to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid backend development background, hands-on experience in building scalable microservices, and expertise in e-commerce platform customizations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and ATG (Oracle Commerce)

- Customize and extend ATG modules to support business requirements

- Build and deploy microservices-based architectures with focus on performance and scalability

- Integrate applications with REST APIs, middleware, and third-party systems

- Work on database design, query optimization, and caching strategies

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and releases

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in Java backend development

- Strong fundamentals in OOPs, multithreading, collections, and performance tuning

- Hands-on experience with ATG (Oracle Commerce) platform and customizations

- Experience with microservices architecture (service discovery, circuit breakers, logging, inter-service communication)

- Solid understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases

- Experience with RESTful services and API integrations

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across environments

Good to Have :

- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Hands-on experience with Docker / Kubernetes

- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

- Experience with Kafka or message queue systems

- Familiarity with performance testing, security practices, and code quality tools (SonarQube, Fortify)
