About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in core Java and hands-on experience in delivering production-ready features. You will play a key role in a .NET to Java migration project in the financial domain, working with loan management, payments, and disbursement systems. The role focuses on development and deployment rather than architecture or system design, making it ideal for engineers who enjoy coding and delivering end-to-end features.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality Java code independently with minimal supervision.

Understand and analyze existing .NET/C# code to facilitate migration (prior .NET experience is a plus, but not mandatory).

Utilize AI-assisted tools to interpret and translate legacy .NET code to Java where applicable.

Deliver features end-to-end, including coding, testing, and deployment to production.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of features.

Follow established architecture and coding standards; no architecture/design responsibilities required.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

8-12 years of hands-on Java development experience.

Strong expertise in core Java and ability to write independent, production-quality code.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret existing .NET/C# code.

Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools for migration projects.

Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end, including production deployment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the financial domain, including loan management, payments, or disbursements.

Familiarity with migration projects from .NET to Java.
