Senior Java Backend Engineer

Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on software development experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 21+, Spring Boot/Quarkus, microservices, reactive programming, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and event-driven architectures. Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Kafka, and modern DevOps practices will be highly valued.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 21+, Spring Boot, and/or Quarkus.

- Build and enhance microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs, gRPC services, and event-driven architectures.

- Develop reactive and non-blocking applications using functional programming and reactive architecture principles.

- Work with Kafka/MQ, PostgreSQL/NoSQL databases, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes to build cloud-native solutions.

- Implement CI/CD, automation, observability, security, resilience, and DevOps best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on coding expertise in Java.

- Strong proficiency in Java 21+, Spring Boot/Quarkus, microservices, distributed systems, and reactive/non-blocking programming.

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, gRPC, Kafka/MQ, event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably GCP.

- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL/NoSQL, OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, CI/CD, observability, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
