Senior Java Backend Engineer - Microservices Architecture - Banking Domain

Responsibilities :

Seeking a results-driven Senior Java Backend Engineer with experience in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microservices, system architecture, Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud computing. Passion for AI, DevOps, and performance optimization is a plus. Proven experience in solution design, mentorship, and Agile methodologies.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

Programming :

- Java 21, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate

Databases :

- Oracle 23, MySQL; Cassandra, Redis, Liquibase, Hikari CP

Cloud & DevOps (CI/CD) :

- AWS (EC2, Lambda), Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Docker, Kafka

Good to Have/Preferred :

Tools & Frameworks :

- Grafana, Prometheus, RabbitMQ, WebSphere, Tomcat, Git, Jira

Development Practices :

- Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Design Patterns, Performance Tuning

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices architecture.

- Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging for high-availability applications.

- Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization efforts.
