Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java development, microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions using AWS. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying high-performance backend services for enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

- Develop and integrate event-driven services using Apache Kafka.

- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker.

- Leverage AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others to create robust cloud-native applications.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

- Ensure compliance with SOW (Statement of Work) requirements and organizational coding standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Managers.

- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes.

Mandatory Skills :

- Core Java strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or above.

- Spring Boot expertise in developing RESTful APIs and backend components.

- Microservices deep understanding and experience building, deploying, and maintaining microservices architecture.

- Kafka experience with messaging queues and event-driven architecture.

- Docker containerization and orchestration of applications.

- AWS working experience with major AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Java backend development.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS is an added advantage.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
