Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Sr IT Engineer - F5 Network Administrator to join our team and support network infrastructure for a leading healthcare organization. In this role, you will manage F5 Load Balancing environments and contribute to critical infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support and manage F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and F5 BIG-IP DNS (formerly GTM - Global Traffic Manager).
- Apply strong knowledge of F5 Load Balancing concepts and algorithms to ensure optimal system performance.
- Administer Linux/Unix OS, leveraging Unix shell scripting, Python, and Ansible for automation.
- Oversee I-Series to R-Series migration as part of infrastructure transformation projects.
- Utilize network monitoring systems to manage and resolve network incidents.
- Implement ITIL processes for incident management, change management, and problem management.
- Work with ServiceNow for IT service management and ticketing.
- Coordinate after-hours changes, OS upgrades, and security patches with flexibility for weekend shifts.
Must-Have Skills :
- Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancing (BIG-IP LTM, GTM)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix OS and scripting (Python/Ansible)
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall policies)
- Experience in network monitoring systems
- Solid experience in F5 Load Balancing concepts and algorithms
- Ability to manage change processes and resolve incidents effectively
Good to Have Skills :
- Prior experience in the Healthcare industry
- Understanding of High Availability Models and Appliance Architectures
- F5 Certifications (CA, CTS for LTM/GTM)
- Familiarity with I-Series to R-Series migration
- Proficiency in ServiceNow for ticketing and service management
Soft Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively with global teams and handle midnight change windows
