Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior HCL Commerce Developer with strong hands-on experience in HCL Commerce (formerly IBM/WebSphere Commerce), Java/J2EE, Spring, REST APIs and eCommerce application development.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating and supporting enterprise eCommerce applications, including troubleshooting production issues and working with cross-functional teams.

Must-Have Skills :

- 6-8 years of overall IT experience

- 5+ years hands-on experience in HCL Commerce / WebSphere Commerce

- Strong Java / J2EE development experience

- Strong Spring Framework

- REST APIs / Web Services

- HCL Commerce development, customization and production support

- Experience with HCL Commerce modules : Catalog, Order Management, Inventory, Pricing, Promotions, Payments, Member Management

- HCL Commerce Store Architecture & Data Model

- HCL Commerce Management Center (CMC)

- Commerce Composer

- SQL / PL/SQL

- Experience integrating HCL Commerce with ERP / CRM / OMS / Payment Gateway / third-party systems

Good-to-Have :

- SOLR / Search Framework

- Docker / Kubernetes

- Azure Cloud

- HCL Commerce upgrades / migrations

- CI/CD and DevOps

- Kafka / integration technologies

- Production troubleshooting and performance optimization

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and customize HCL Commerce applications.

- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations.

- Work on Catalog, Order, Inventory, Pricing, Promotions and Payments.

- Integrate HCL Commerce with ERP, CRM, OMS and third-party applications.

- Develop custom commands, controllers, services, schedulers and integration components.

- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues.

- Participate in technical design, code reviews and testing.

- Support HCL Commerce upgrades, migrations and modernization initiatives.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, DevOps and other technical teams.

- Mentor junior developers and follow coding/architecture best practices.
