Senior GCP DevOps Engineer - Cloud Operations

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD and SRE practices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, monitoring and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement and manage scalable and reliable GCP cloud infrastructure.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment and operational processes.

- Manage production workloads using Kubernetes, Helm and Istio Service Mesh.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Cloud.

- Build and manage CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using Jenkins and Argo CD.

- Implement monitoring, alerting and observability using Prometheus and Alertmanager.

- Apply SRE practices to improve system reliability, availability and performance.

- Manage and troubleshoot GCP services including Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL and Cloud Spanner.

- Work with Docker, Ansible and PostgreSQL for application deployment and infrastructure operations.

- Troubleshoot production incidents and drive automation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of relevant experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering / SRE.

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators.

- Hands-on experience with Istio Service Mesh.

- Strong knowledge of Terraform Cloud and Infrastructure as Code.

- Experience with Helm Charts.

- Experience with Argo CD / GitOps.

- Hands-on experience with Prometheus and Alertmanager.

- Good understanding of SRE principles and practices.

- Experience with Ansible, Docker and Jenkins.

- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL.

- Strong troubleshooting, automation and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience managing highly available production environments on GCP.

- Experience with cloud-native architecture and microservices.

- Experience with incident management, performance optimization and reliability engineering.
