Senior Full Stack Engineer - Browser Extension Development

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong expertise in browser extension development and end-to-end product engineering. The ideal candidate will build secure, high-performance browser extensions while contributing across frontend, backend, and system design. This role involves close collaboration with product, security, and ML/backend teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Browser Extension Development (Mandatory) :

- Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

- Integrate browser extensions with backend services and internal APIs.

- Implement permission models, security policies, and manage extension lifecycle workflows.

- Ensure compliance with browser security standards, sandboxing, and best practices.

Fullstack Engineering :

- Build responsive and intuitive UI components using React and/or Angular.

- Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js, Python, Go, or Java.

- Integrate frontend components with backend systems and APIs.

- Collaborate closely with backend, ML, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

System Architecture & Engineering Excellence :

- Participate in technical design discussions and propose scalable, maintainable system architectures.

- Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to engineering best practices.

- Contribute to performance optimization, reliability, and maintainability of systems.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and security.

- Take ownership of feature delivery, performance, and long-term maintainability.

- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4- 6 years of overall full stack development experience.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in browser extension development (Chrome/Firefox/Edge).

- Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.

- Solid understanding of browser APIs, extension sandboxing, permissions, session management, and security best practices.

- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based development environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have :

- Experience working in security-sensitive or privacy-focused products.

- Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures.

- Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Experience collaborating with ML or data engineering teams.
