About the Role :

CORTEX is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge, intelligent applications on Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on OpenAI technologies.

This is a critical remote position for a creative and results-oriented individual who is passionate about Generative AI, chatbots, and building robust, scalable solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in our team, driving the technical vision and implementation of our AI-powered products.

This is a hands-on development role where you will be expected to contribute across the entire stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and AI model integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the full lifecycle development of scalable and intelligent applications leveraging Azure cloud services and OpenAI technologies.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services using Node.js and Python.

- Build and optimize modern front-end user interfaces using contemporary web technologies.

- Architect, implement, and scale sophisticated chatbot and Generative AI applications.

- Integrate deeply with OpenAI APIs, demonstrating expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and large language model (LLM) utilization.

- Develop and implement advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance the accuracy and relevance of AI responses.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define

requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality products.

- Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of developed applications.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, Azure services, and web development trends.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices within the team.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of extensive experience in full stack development, demonstrating proficiency across front-end and back-end technologies.

- Strong expertise in Node.js and Python for building scalable and performant back-end services.

- Proven experience in modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) for developing intuitive user interfaces.

- Demonstrable experience building and scaling sophisticated chatbots and Generative AI applications in production environments.

- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly those relevant to AI/ML and application deployment (e.g., Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Web Apps).

- Profound understanding and practical experience with OpenAI APIs, including expertise in prompt engineering, leveraging various LLMs, and integrating them into applications.

- Strong hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, including designing, implementing, and optimizing data retrieval mechanisms for LLMs.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed, remote team.

- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
