About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Frontend WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in WordPress frontend development, focusing on modern UI/UX implementation, theme architecture, performance optimization, and seamless integration with backend systems. You will work on visually engaging, accessible, and high-performance WordPress applications, contributing to design systems, responsive layouts, and frontend performance best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Custom Theme Development : Build and maintain custom WordPress themes using clean, modular, and reusable code.

- UI/UX Implementation : Translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible interfaces.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize frontend performance with efficient asset loading, lazy loading, and CSS/JS minification.

- API Consumption : Integrate and render dynamic data from REST APIs or GraphQL endpoints in the frontend.

- Accessibility & SEO : Implement WCAG accessibility standards and SEO best practices in all frontend work.

- Version Control & CI/CD : Collaborate using Git, Bitbucket, and automated build/deployment pipelines.

- Troubleshooting & Debugging : Identify and resolve UI/UX issues across multiple devices and browsers.

- Scalability & Maintainability : Ensure frontend architecture supports large-scale, high-traffic environments and is easy to maintain.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+)

- Experience with WordPress Hooks, Actions, and Filters for frontend customization

- Custom Theme Development with a focus on modularity and performance

- Familiarity with REST APIs & GraphQL data integration

- Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

- Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Gulp, Vite)

- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices

- Experience with caching strategies, CDN integration, and frontend performance tuning

- Familiarity with modern JS frameworks like React or Vue (preferred)

- Git & Agile development workflow experience
