Senior Engineer - Transaction Processing Facility

Description :

We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer with expertise in TPF (Transaction Processing Facility) to lead the design, development, and optimization of high-volume, mission-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TPFDF, TPFC, and large-scale transaction systems, along with proven ability to collaborate and guide technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to software engineering teams.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability in high-transaction environments.

- Manage code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with security standards.

- Drive modernization initiatives including integration with APIs, distributed platforms, and cloud systems.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.

- Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and innovation initiatives.

Mandatory Skills :

- Experience integrating TPF with API gateways, distributed systems, or microservices.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, etc.) for hybrid system integration.

Qualifications :

- 2 - 6 years of relevant experience in software development with strong TPF expertise.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.

- Proven leadership in guiding teams and managing deliverables.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
