Senior Engineer - .Net

Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Senior .NET Engineer with 5+ years of experience in backend development and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in complex environments with minimal documentation and demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, ownership, and adaptability.

This is a hands-on engineering role involving close collaboration with the Application Development Manager while contributing to modern, scalable, microservices-based systems built using the .NET ecosystem, Azure/AWS cloud, and modern architectural practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

- Design and build microservices-based applications

- Develop and integrate REST APIs and middleware services

- Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) for application deployment and integration

- Collaborate in system design and architecture discussions

- Work independently in systems with limited documentation

- Ensure secure API implementation using authentication standards

- Participate in agile development practices and continuous improvement

Required Technical Skills :

Core Backend (.NET) Mandatory

- Strong experience in .NET Framework / .NET Core

- Expertise in ASP.NET Core

- Solid understanding of :

- MVC architecture

- Design patterns

- Entity Framework / EF Core (ORM)

- Strong backend development capability (mandatory)

Microservices & APIs Mandatory

- Experience with service-based architecture

- Hands-on development of REST APIs

- Understanding of event-driven systems

- Experience working in microservices environments

Cloud-Native Development Mandatory

- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS (AWS exposure preferred)

Experience working with :

- Compute services

- Storage solutions

- Databases

- Exposure through real projects or POCs

Containers & Dev Environment :

- Hands-on experience with Docker

- Ability to containerize and run .NET applications

- Understanding of local container-based development workflows

Database Skills :

- Strong experience with SQL Server

- Writing complex queries & stored procedures

- Exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus

Architecture & Design :

- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture

- Ability to design medium-complexity systems

- Understanding component interactions and scalability

Security & Integration :

- Experience with OAuth2 authentication

- API security and integration patterns

Frontend Exposure (Good to Have) :

- Angular / React or any modern JavaScript framework

Good to Have / Trainable Skills :

- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

- Prompt engineering fundamentals

- CI/CD awareness

- Logging, monitoring, and security practices
