Senior Engineer II - .Net Application Development

Description :

The Senior Engineer will design, develop, and manage complex .NET applications for enterprise-level systems. The role includes coding, mentoring, and technical design, ensuring adherence to high standards of software quality and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Design & Development :

- Design, build, and maintain .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API applications.

- Develop responsive Angular 2+ front-end applications.

- Create, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases (tables, stored procedures, triggers, functions).

- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with backend systems.

- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and maintainable.

2. Project Planning & Execution :

- Estimate development effort and define task-level breakdowns.

- Track project progress, communicate updates, and identify risks.

- Collaborate with Agile teams, maintain JIRA status, and ensure timely delivery.

3. Testing & Debugging :

- Write and execute unit test cases.

- Conduct peer reviews of code and test cases.

- Debug and resolve complex issues in development or production environments.

4. Documentation & Process :

- Prepare technical documentation following SDLC standards.

- Follow best practices for coding, testing, and security compliance.

- Adhere to CI/CD and version control (Git) processes.

5. Mentoring & Collaboration :

- Coach junior developers or trainees in coding, testing, and documentation standards.

- Act as a technical SME for internal teams and contribute to system improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills :

- C#, ASP.NET Core / MVC / Web Forms / Web API

- Angular 2+, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript

- T-SQL, MS SQL Server (2016/2019/2022 preferred)

- Entity Framework / LINQ

- Git / Version Control Systems

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS)

- Web Services, JSON, XML

- Responsive Design, Bootstrap

- Agile Methodology

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services (SQS, S3, ECS, SNS)

- Automated Testing / Integration Testing

- CI/CD and DevOps knowledge

- Visual Studio 2019/2022 experience

Education & Experience :

- Education : B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science, IT) / MCA / M.Sc (IT/CS)

- Experience : Minimum 4 years in full-stack .NET application development.

Mandatory Criteria (Profiles will not be considered without these) :

- Minimum 4+ years in full-stack development (.NET + Angular + SQL).

- Must have hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core / MVC.

- Strong SQL database experience (writing queries, stored procedures).

- Must have worked with Angular 2+ for front-end.

- Strong understanding of OOPS and API integrations.

- Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days (Max)
