As a senior engineer, you'll be a key architect and builder in our journey. You won't just ship features, you'll shape the core platform, mentor engineers, and drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities :

- Own design, architecture, and execution of large-scale backend systems.

- Lead initiatives from roadmap to production across payment rails and compliance layers.

- Write robust, testable, clean code and ensure engineering best practices (TDD, CI/CD, SOLID).

- Mentor junior engineers and help define Glomopay's engineering culture.

- Collaborate with product, compliance, and infra teams to align on business-critical priorities.

- Drive performance, scalability, and observability efforts.

Requirements :

- 8- 10 years of backend development experience in high-scale environments.

- Strong system design, database fundamentals, and API architecture skills.

- Deep experience in building from scratch, 01 journey ownership is a must.

- Proven track record of solving infrastructure or payments-related problems.

- Experience in Ruby/Rails is a bonus (but not mandatory).

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Prior startup or fast-growth environment experience strongly preferred.

- Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
