Role Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure cloud, Kubernetes (AKS), GitLab CI/CD, and Istio service mesh.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in enterprise cloud platforms, managing production environments, handling incidents, and ensuring system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure and AKS clusters

- Design and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines with quality and security gates

- Implement Kubernetes networking (Ingress, Services, DNS, Load Balancers, Network Policies)

- Deploy and manage Istio service mesh (traffic routing, mTLS, retries, circuit breaking)

- Handle production incidents, perform RCA, and improve system reliability

- Drive vulnerability management (CVE remediation, container/image scanning)

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, Datadog

- Automate infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)

- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure smooth deployments

Mandatory Skills (Must Have) :

- Strong experience with Azure Cloud (AKS, Networking, IAM)

- Hands-on experience in GitLab CI/CD pipelines

- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm

- Experience with Istio / Service Mesh

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes & Cloud Networking

- Experience in Incident Management & RCA

- Experience in Vulnerability Management (CVE handling, scanning tools)

- Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Experience with Monitoring & Observability tools

Good to Have :

- DevSecOps tools and practices

- SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) exposure

- Azure certifications (AZ-400 / AZ-104)
