Job Description :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

- Professional training or certification in Linux, Windows Server, Azure, Ansible, DevOps, database administration, or related technologies is advantageous.

- Demonstrated experience delivering application migrations or deployments in controlled enterprise environments.

Required Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, systems engineering, application operations, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.

- 4+ years of practical experience developing and supporting Ansible automation for application and server configuration.

- Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting PHP applications and REST APIs.

- Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting .NET Framework and/or modern .NET APIs.

- Experience administering both Windows Server and Linux environments.

- Experience integrating applications with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.

- Experience supporting production or business-critical migrations, including cutover, rollback, and stabilization.

- Experience coordinating with infrastructure, security, database, development, QA, and application-support stakeholders.

Required Technical Skill Set :

- Automation : Ansible roles and playbooks, inventories, variables, Jinja2 templates, handlers, vault or secrets integration, idempotency, error handling, Git.

- Application Platforms : PHP 7/8, Composer, REST APIs, .NET Framework, .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, Windows services.

- Web Hosting : IIS, Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, reverse proxy configuration, TLS/SSL bindings, application pools.

- Databases : Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, connectivity, authentication, schema deployment, backup and restore coordination, basic performance troubleshooting.

- Operating Systems : Windows Server and enterprise Linux; services, processes, permissions, packages, logs, storage, and scheduled jobs.

- Scripting & Source Control : PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Git, YAML, JSON, and configuration templating.

- CI/CD : Azure DevOps or an equivalent pipeline platform; artifact handling, approvals, configuration, deployment validation, and rollback.

- Networking & Security : DNS, firewalls, ports, proxies, load balancers, certificates, service accounts, secrets, least privilege, and server hardening.

- Operations : Monitoring, log analysis, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, release support, runbooks, and knowledge transfer.
