Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology hub in Chandigarh. In this role, you will serve as a technical anchor, bridging the gap between development and operations to build robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to architect seamless deployment pipelines and optimize cloud environments. Your work will directly influence the reliability and performance of our platforms, ensuring that our end-users experience high availability and rapid feature delivery. By championing automation and infrastructure-as-code practices, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our technical operations to meet the demands of a global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain highly available CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery cycles and reduce time-to-market for engineering teams.

- Design and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker to ensure consistent application performance across development, staging, and production.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform to eliminate manual configuration errors and improve environment reproducibility.

- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to maintain system health and provide actionable insights for rapid incident resolution.

- Develop and maintain configuration management scripts using Ansible to streamline server provisioning and ensure compliance across our Linux-based server fleet.

- Collaborate with the DevOps Architect to define long-term infrastructure roadmaps, ensuring our cloud architecture remains cost-effective, secure, and scalable.

- Write custom automation scripts in Python to integrate disparate tools and enhance the efficiency of our internal development workflows.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale AWS cloud environments, with a deep understanding of VPCs, IAM, EC2, and managed database services.

- Proven ability to design and orchestrate containerized workflows using Kubernetes and Docker in high-traffic production environments.

- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, specifically utilizing Terraform to manage complex cloud resources.

- Advanced scripting capabilities in Python to build custom automation tools that simplify operational bottlenecks.

- Deep operational knowledge of Linux systems, including performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting complex kernel-level issues.

- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, with a focus on integrating automated testing and security scanning.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable infrastructure designs for diverse stakeholders.

- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating strong self-management and collaborative problem-solving skills.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
