About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5 - 10 years of experience to manage and improve cloud infrastructure, deployment platforms, automation, and reliability across Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud operations, with the ability to troubleshoot and operate infrastructure in regulated or closed-network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage, configure, and support GCP infrastructure and cloud platform services.

- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, operational tasks, and environment management.

- Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and resource utilization.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment, and application-platform issues.

- Implement cloud security, access controls, configuration management, and operational best practices.

- Support modern data platform services and workloads running on GCP.

- Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Work closely with development, data engineering, security, and architecture teams to support production environments.

- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 510 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with GCP.

- Strong experience with Kubernetes and GKE.

- Hands-on expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.

- Good understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Experience supporting production cloud environments.

- Strong understanding of containers, Linux, automation, and deployment practices.

- Experience working in regulated, secure, or restricted-network environments is preferred.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
