Role Description :

Position Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps / AWS Engineer to design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure for an AWS-native, event-driven Annuity Reinsurance Platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and production operations, preferably within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.

- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS DevOps services.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes.

- Support event-driven architectures using EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.

- Implement cloud security using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and Security Hub.

- Establish monitoring, logging, and observability using CloudWatch, X-Ray, OpenTelemetry, and OpenSearch.

- Support disaster recovery, backup, high availability, incident management, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, data, security, and product teams.

- Automate operational processes and maintain deployment, monitoring, and recovery runbooks.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of DevOps / Cloud / SRE experience.

- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.

- Strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.

- Experience with EKS/ECS, Lambda, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.

- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and reliability engineering.

- Excellent troubleshooting, automation, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience :

- Insurance / Reinsurance / Life Insurance / Annuity platforms.

- Financial services and regulated production environments.

- Kafka, Datadog, Splunk, OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry.

- FinOps and AWS cost optimization.

- Multi-account AWS and SaaS architectures.

Ideal Candidate :

- A hands-on DevOps / AWS Engineer who can build and operate secure, scalable, highly available cloud platforms and contribute effectively from MVP development through enterprise-scale production.

- 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
