Job Description:

The profile involves migrating client workloads and infrastructure from on-premises environments or self-managed Microsoft Azure cloud servers to AWS.

We are looking for seasoned DevOps professionals with hands-on experience in cloud migration projects, particularly those involving AWS adoption, infrastructure transformation, and migration from on-premises/Azure environments.

The ideal candidate should have the technical expertise and maturity to plan, execute, troubleshoot, and manage complex migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and a smooth transition to AWS.

Hard Skills / Need to Have:

- 7+ years in DevOps or platform engineering

- Proven experience migrating on-prem workloads to cloud

- Deep AWS expertise (hands-on, not just theoretical)

- Solid Azure background for migration context

- Production Terraform at scale

- Hands-on with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions

- ECS / Fargate container orchestration

- Strong scripting skills (Python or Bash)

- Security-first mindset across cloud infra

Nice to have:

- Have experience in various development languages, such as PHP, .Net, Node.

- Experience in databases, such as MySQL and Postgres.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Lead the end-to-end Azure to AWS cloud migration

- Assess on-premises workloads and define lift, shift, and modernisation strategies

- Design and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines

- Manage containerised workloads on Kubernetes (EKS / AKS) and ECS / Fargate

- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability across environments

- Define and enforce security, access control, and compliance standards

- Automate repetitive ops tasks and drive toil reduction

- Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps culture
