Role Overview :

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure, bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure seamless, high-velocity software delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments.

Your day-to-day will involve optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized workloads, and ensuring the reliability of our production systems. By automating manual processes and implementing infrastructure-as-code, you will directly impact our business outcomes by reducing deployment friction, enhancing system uptime, and empowering our developers to ship high-quality features to our customers faster.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to accelerate the software development lifecycle and ensure consistent deployment quality for our engineering teams.

- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker to improve resource utilization and application portability across environments.

- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to ensure environment consistency, auditability, and rapid disaster recovery.

- Automate configuration management and system provisioning using Ansible and Shell scripting to reduce human error and operational overhead.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems on AWS to maintain high availability and performance for our end users.

- Collaborate with security and development teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps workflow, ensuring compliance and data protection.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex AWS cloud environments, with a deep understanding of VPCs, IAM, and cloud-native services.

- Proven ability to build and manage automated CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, ensuring seamless integration and delivery cycles.

- Strong proficiency in container orchestration and management using Kubernetes and Docker in high-traffic production environments.

- Advanced scripting capabilities in Python and Shell to automate repetitive tasks and build custom tooling for infrastructure management.

- Deep knowledge of Linux system administration, including performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting complex system issues.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable infrastructure plans for diverse stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a hybrid or on-site environment within major metros, and capable of mentoring junior engineers.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a track record of solving complex engineering challenges.
