Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Senior Database Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance database solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database design, performance tuning, and handling large-scale data systems in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust database systems and solutions

- Write efficient, scalable, and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions

- Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization

- Manage data integrity, security, and availability across systems

- Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases effectively

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and bottlenecks

- Support data migration, transformation, and ETL processes

- Ensure adherence to best practices in database development and governance

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL or similar)

- Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

- Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization

- Experience in database design, normalization, and data modeling

- Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration techniques

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in large-scale or high-availability environments

- Exposure to NoSQL databases is an added advantage

- Prior experience in handling production support and critical systems
