Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake & Amazon Redshift

Role Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.

This role will be responsible for designing and building scalable, end-to-end data pipelines and production-ready data models to power our application, portal, and reporting ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

- Develop production-grade data models using DBT to ensure consistency and scalability.

- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to understand data requirements.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all layers.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data processes in production environments.

Core Technical Skills :

- DBT Expertise : Advanced experience in building modular, testable, and maintainable transformations.

- Cloud Data Warehouses : Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling best practices.

- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and CI/CD for data.

- Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.

Preferred Experience :

- Knowledge of data architecture principles and scalable design patterns.

- Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
