Profile : Senior Data Engineer

Location & work : Pune / Delhi NCR, WFO

The Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in data engineering, AWS, Python, and distributed data processing.

The ideal should have a leadership experience, technical expertise, and the ability to work closely with clients to drive successful project delivery.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage end-to-end data engineering projects ensuring scalability, performance, and quality.

- Act as a technical lead across teams; provide architectural guidance and oversee development best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices and big data solutions.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong client relationships.

- Contribute to project planning, sprint delivery, and status reporting.

- Foster team collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- Bachelor / Masters degree in Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with large-scale data systems.

- 3+ years in technical leadership or team management roles.

- Proven expertise in AWS cloud (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.)

- Strong programming skills with Python and PySpark for big data processing.

- Extensive experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker for containerized deployments.

- Experience in designing and developing microservices architectures.

- Track record of leading engineering teams and driving project outcomes end-to-end.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience building and optimizing distributed data processing systems.

- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on system design and architectural planning experience.

- Certifications such as AWS DevOps or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
