Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in the health insurance domain. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics to provide actionable insights, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze large, complex datasets from claims, policy, and member data to identify trends and opportunities.

- Design and implement advanced statistical models and predictive analytics for risk assessment and cost optimization.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, ICD codes etc.).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including actuarial, underwriting, and IT to deliver data-driven solutions.

- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner.

- Ensure accurate mapping and transformation of diagnosis and procedure codes in claims and policy data.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 3 years in health insurance or healthcare.

- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java/Javascript.

- Deep understanding of health insurance processes (claims, underwriting, policy management).

- Strong understanding of ICD coding standards and their impact on claims, billing, and reporting is a plus.

- Experience with data migration and validation during ICD upgrades is a plus

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
