About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, particularly within the insurance, finance, or banking domains. This role is ideal for someone with deep analytical skills, a passion for the latest technologies, and hands-on experience in machine learning and predictive modeling.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards

- Perform deep-dive analysis to extract insights from complex datasets

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable

insights

- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques (including NLP and predictive modeling)

- Develop and maintain data models using tools such as ERWin, Enterprise Architect, or Visio

- Design and implement efficient ETL processes for data transformation and loading

- Manage and query data across various DBMS (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)

- Utilize Hadoop, NoSQL, and big data platforms for large-scale data processing

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance

- Contribute to Agile project planning and development cycles

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7-10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence

- Proven experience developing complex Power BI dashboards and reports

- Solid experience in insurance or financial services domains (mandatory)

- Strong understanding of machine learning, NLP, and predictive analytics

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes

- Proficiency with SQL, UNIX/Linux/Solaris/Windows environments

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies

- Experience with data mining, data modeling, and data visualization best practices

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Passion for new technologies and continuous learning
