The Senior Data Analyst is a critical, hands-on role focused on leveraging advanced statistical methods and machine learning to derive predictive insights.

Based Onsite in Navi Mumbai, this position requires strong expertise in both SQL and cloud data platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Synapse).

The incumbent will utilize specialized data science techniques and advanced visualization tools like Power BI to transform complex data into actionable business strategies.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python/R, and statistical methods to develop predictive models.

The ideal candidate must have deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Synapse), and proficiency with various relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, HANA).

This role requires expertise in Big Data Analytics, advanced Power BI visualization techniques (Calculations, Parameters, Custom Hierarchies), and practical experience in Data Engineering or Data Modeling on Azure Data Lake.

Key Responsibilities and Analytical Deliverables :

- Data Querying and Manipulation: Apply Strong hands-on SQL knowledge (preferred) across various database environments, including MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle SQL, and HANA, for complex data extraction and transformation.

- Predictive Modeling and Statistics: Utilize experience with Python/R, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models that solve business challenges.

- Data Science & Analytics: Apply expertise in Data Science & Big Data Analytics principles, employing advanced analytical techniques and potentially utilizing optimization tools like Solver.

- Cloud Data Architecture: Demonstrate Deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Synapse). Directly contribute to Data Engineer or Data Modelling on Azure Data Lake.

- Visualization and Reporting: Possess Expertise in Power BI and demonstrate strong hands-on experience in using advanced features such as Calculations, Parameters, Sets, Custom Hierarchies, Background images, Mapping, and Actions to create dynamic and insightful dashboards.

- Database Management: Efficiently interact with and manage large datasets stored in diverse databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle SQL, HANA), ensuring data quality and accessibility for analysis.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Programming & Technology: Strong hands-on SQL knowledge is preferred, and experience with Python/R, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models.

- Databases: Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle SQL, HANA.

- Data Analysis: Practical experience with Data Science & Big Data Analytics, including optimization techniques like Solver.

- Cloud Platform: Deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Synapse), and practical experience in Data Engineer or Data Modelling on Azure Data Lake.

- Visualization Tools: Expertise in Power BI and strong hands-on experience in using advanced features (Calculations, Parameters, Custom Hierarchies, Mapping, Actions).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for code and model management.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a data science context.

- Experience integrating Power BI with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics).

- Knowledge of advanced statistical software packages.
