Role Overview :

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling advanced analytics solutions focused on transportation and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Designing analytics models that optimize transportation costs, delivery speed, and network efficiency.

- Developing and maintaining carrier performance dashboards and transportation reporting solutions.

- Enhancing routing optimization tools to improve shipping decisions and operational performance.

- Building and improving chargeback management and dispute resolution analytics systems.

- Creating cost benchmarking engines to compare transportation performance and expenses.

- Delivering predictive analytics and real-time reporting for transportation KPIs.

- Monitoring and analyzing transit times, on-time delivery performance, freight spending, and carrier effectiveness.

- Providing rapid ad-hoc business analysis and decision support within a 24-hour service level agreement.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and process improvements.

- Supporting automation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and reporting accuracy.

- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability across transportation analytics platforms.

- Presenting actionable insights and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership teams.

Must-haves :

- 4 - 6 years of analytics experience.

- Experience within transportation, supply chain, logistics, or ecommerce operations environments.

- Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.

- Experience with Snowflake, Starburst, or similar data platforms.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

- Strong Power BI expertise, including dashboard development and creation of DAX measures from scratch.

- Ability to independently solve ambiguous business problems and transform data into actionable business insights.

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

- Experience presenting analytical findings to business leaders and stakeholders.

- Experience collaborating with US-based teams across multiple time zones.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

- Experience with carrier rate analysis.

- Freight cost modeling expertise.

- Exposure to warehouse operations analytics.

- Experience with inbound logistics data and operational reporting.

- Additional transportation network optimization experience.
