Senior C++ Developer - AR/VR Apps

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Developer to join our team for a high-priority project within the Aeronautical/Defense sector.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-performance graphics programming, simulation, and UI development.

You will be responsible for developing advanced Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) applications using C++ and open-source graphics APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance VR, AR, MR, and WebGL applications using Advanced C++.

- Implement rendering pipelines using OpenGL, OpenGLES, Vulkan, and DirectX.

- Develop and optimize shaders using GLSL/GSL.

- Integrate graphics scenes using OpenSceneGraph (OSG).

- Build robust User Interfaces (UI) using Qt framework.

- Collaborate with the engineering team to execute stand-alone eXtending Reality (XR) applications.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

- Core Language: Advanced proficiency in C++ is a must.

- Graphics APIs: Deep working knowledge of OpenGL, OpenGLES, Vulkan, and DirectX.

- Shaders: Experience writing and optimizing GSL/GLSL Shaders.

- Scene Graphs: Hands-on experience with OpenSceneGraph (OSG).

- UI Frameworks: Proficiency in Qt for application UI development.

- Domains: Proven track record in developing applications for VR, AR, MR, and WebGL.

Desirable Skills (Plus) :

- Experience with OpenVR and open-source graphics APIs.

- Familiarity with Physics-based engines and game engines such as Unity3D, Unreal Engine, or Godot.

- Experience in developing stand-alone XR (Extended Reality) applications.

Experience & Qualifications :

- Project History: Must have successfully executed a minimum of 5 different projects in the domains listed above, with each project spanning at least 6 months.

- Industry Background: Prior experience working with Government clients, specifically in the Defense or Aerospace industry, is highly preferred.

- Education: B./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
