Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist in design decision for the infrastructure team for a high frequency, low latency trading system across a wide range of projects.

- Act as a hands-on developer for projects as assigned.

- Will be required to work independently

- Manage projects and act as Team Lead

Experience/Skills :

- Well versed in C++ Multithreading programming

- Excellent Object Oriented programming skills using C++, Java, C# programming languages

- Experience working with middleware messaging library (Tibco, 29west, etc)

- Excellent understanding of various network protocols (TCP, UDP multicast/unicast), a good understanding of threading/memory/networking architecture on Windows (Linux is a plus)

- Experience in developing applications expected to run 24x7

- Strong command of spoken and written English.

The position involves extensive interaction with teams in London and New York and good communication skills are a prerequisite.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as Senior C++ Developer/Architect

- Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with FIX protocol, market data distribution, order handling is a plus

- Good communication skills, ability to write design documents (Visio diagram, UML, data flow analysis, etc.) and experience with requirements capturing is a plus.
