Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst AI acts as a strategic bridge between business needs and AI capabilities, ensuring that high-impact AI solutions are conceptualized, prioritized, and delivered successfully. This role involves leading requirement gathering, defining KPIs, shaping the AI product roadmap, and driving end-to-end product lifecycle managementfrom ideation to launch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, business analysis frameworks, Agile practices, and prompt engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Alignment

- Lead detailed requirement gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders for complex AI initiatives.

- Translate business problems into structured functional requirements and AI use cases.

- Facilitate workshops to align expectations, scope, and success criteria across business, data science, and engineering teams.

- Document and maintain product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.

2. AI Product Lifecycle Management

- Drive the complete product lifecyclefrom ideation, prioritization, scoping, design, development, testing, to launch.

- Partner with AI/ML teams to define feasible architectures, data needs, and solution constraints.

- Monitor model performance, ensure continuous improvement, and manage post-launch enhancements.

- Define KPIs, success metrics, and measurable outcomes for AI product performance.

3. Market & Competitive Intelligence

- Conduct market research, industry benchmarking, and competitive analysis to identify emerging AI trends and opportunities.

- Provide insights that feed into AI strategy, product positioning, and business cases.

- Evaluate potential vendors, tools, and technologies that can strengthen AI capabilities.

4. Delivery, Execution & Governance

- Manage Agile ceremonies (standups, grooming, retrospectives) in partnership with product and engineering teams.

- Ensure timely delivery of use cases, prototypes, and product increments.

- Track risks, dependencies, and alignment with overall AI strategy.

- Ensure documentation, compliance, and governance standards are followed.

5. Stakeholder Communication & Change Management

- Communicate progress, insights, risks, and achievements to leadership and business stakeholders.

- Develop clear business value narratives for AI products and ensure organizational buy-in.

- Facilitate user training, adoption planning, and change management processes.

6. Leadership & Mentoring

- Mentor junior business analysts and guide them in requirement gathering, documentation, and analytical methods.

- Champion best practices in business analysis, AI use case development, and Agile methodologies.

- Ensure alignment with strategic AI roadmap and organizational priorities.

Must-Have Skills:

- Strong experience in requirements gathering for complex AI/technology products.

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in cross-functional squads.

- Hands-on knowledge of the AI product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and monitoring.

- Prompt engineering skills for refining AI model queries and improving output quality.

- Ability to translate business needs into AI problem statements, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, data pipelines, and model evaluation metrics.

- Strong stakeholder communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

- Exposure to GenAI tools, LLM-based applications, or data-driven product development.

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, or similar collaboration tools.

Qualification :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Data/Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.

- Certifications in Agile/ Scrum, Business Analysis, or Product Management are a plus.
