We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our tech team in Gurgaon.

About the Role :

In this role, you'll work on high-impact projects powering our core travel platform, contributing to the architectural vision, and building scalable backend systems that directly influence the customer experience.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails.

Lead and contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using industry best practices.

Drive engineering excellence through continuous improvements in performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails in a production environment.

- Solid understanding of MVC architecture, PostgreSQL, Redis, and API design principles.

- Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
