Focus : Python, Django/Flask, AI/ML Service Integration

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Python to lead the development of the API layer that directly integrates our proprietary AI/ML models into the core SaaS platform. You will build secure, low-latency APIs for real-time model inference, data pre-processing, and interaction with our Data Science team's MLOps pipelines.

Key Technical Responsibilities :

- API Development : Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Python with frameworks like Django, Django REST Framework, or Flask/FastAPI.

- ML Integration : Architect the data flow from client requests through the API gateway to the model serving endpoint, optimizing for inference latency and resource usage.

- Data Handling : Manage data serialization/deserialization and integration with data engineers for feature store access.

- Asynchronous Tasks : Implement task queues (Celery or similar) for handling long-running, asynchronous jobs related to data processing or bulk client reports.

- Security : Ensure APIs are secured against common threats, implementing token-based authentication and authorization for multi-tenant enterprise access.

What You'll Bring (Mandatory Skills & Experience) :

- Educational Excellence : B.Tech/M.Tech in CS or related field from an IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, or IIIT is mandatory.

- Core Stack : Expert proficiency in Python and experience with at least one major Python web framework (Django/Flask/FastAPI).

- AI Exposure : Strong familiarity with the software side of ML deployment, including model serving and performance monitoring.

- Tools : Experience with SQL, message queues, and containerization (Docker).
