About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer proficient in Node.js/TypeScript to own high-speed API development and gateway services. This role leverages the non-blocking nature of Node.js to manage high-volume I/O operations and build critical integration points between the frontend, core backend, and external enterprise systems.

Key Technical Responsibilities

- Service Development: Build and maintain performant, concurrent backend services using Node.js and frameworks like Express or NestJS, with a strict mandate for TypeScript usage.

- API Management: Design and implement robust API gateways and microservices for handling client requests, authentication, and routing across the platform.

- I/O Optimization: Focus on optimizing asynchronous operations, including external service calls, database pooling, and streaming large datasets efficiently.

- Testing: Enforce high code quality through comprehensive unit, integration, and E2E testing for all API endpoints.

What You'll Bring (Mandatory Skills & Experience)

- Educational Excellence: B.Tech/M.Tech in CS or related field from an IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, or IIIT is mandatory.

- Core Stack: Expert proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern API frameworks.

- Databases: Experience with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cassandra).

- Asynchronous Handling: Strong grasp of asynchronous programming concepts and performance tuning in Node.js.
