Senior Backend Engineer | TypeScript / Node.js | Product-Based Startup

Role Overview :

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer experienced in TypeScript, Node.js (Express/Nest.js), and MongoDB to design and build scalable backend systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and maintainable software systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and scale backend services using Node.js & TypeScript

- Design microservices and event-driven architecture

- Write clean, testable, and efficient code

- Implement CI/CD, monitoring, and observability tools

- Collaborate with product and design teams for feature delivery

Requirements :

- 4-6 years of backend engineering experience

- 2+ years hands-on with TypeScript and Express.js / Nest.js

- Strong database knowledge (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB)

- Solid understanding of scalable architecture & system design

- Experience with cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and automated testing
