Role Overview :

As a Senior Backend Engineer (Java) at NetWeb Software, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that power our core applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our platform, ultimately contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable and robust microservices using Java and Spring framework to support high-volume transactions.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services, ensuring optimal performance and security.

- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS to build and deploy cloud-native applications, optimizing for cost and efficiency.

- Implement message queues using Kafka or RabbitMQ to enable asynchronous communication between services, enhancing system resilience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with product roadmap and business objectives.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability, reducing the risk of production issues.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and share knowledge within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance, thereby maintaining client satisfaction.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop scalable and resilient backend systems using Java and Spring framework.

- Proven expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs for seamless integration with various services.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, showcasing proficiency in cloud-native development.

- Solid understanding of message queueing systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, enabling asynchronous communication between services.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
