About the role :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of our company's core infrastructure. You will architect systems that handle video processing, real-time transcription, and content delivery at scale, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical decisions across the backend stack.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of scalable APIs and microservices using Go and Python

- Architect and optimize distributed data pipelines for video processing, transcription, and AI model inference

- Own performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems serving 30,000+ teams

- Drive technical decisions on system design, database architecture, and infrastructure patterns

- Build integrations with third-party platforms (Confluence, Notion, Google Docs, and others)

- Mentor backend engineers and establish engineering best practices across the team

What you'll bring (Qualifications) :

- 6 to 8 years of experience building production backend systems

- Strong proficiency in Go and Python (must have)

- Deep experience with MongoDB and distributed database systems

- B.Tech from IIT, BITS, NIT, or equivalent top-tier engineering institution

- Prior startup experience is strongly preferred

- Experience with distributed systems architecture is a strong plus

- Exposure to AI-driven automations and ML model serving is a good to have
