Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer - Data Engineering with 5 - 10 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in backend development, SQL, database management, API development, and backend architecture.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Python and backend technologies, along with experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and data-driven applications.

This role is primarily focused on backend engineering, data processing, SQL, database operations, and system design, rather than frontend or full-stack development.

Optional / Good to Have :

- .NET / C#

- React.js knowledge is a plus, but frontend development is not the primary requirement

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.

- Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services.

- Develop backend solutions using Python and other backend technologies.

- Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries and database structures.

- Work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other databases as required.

- Design and implement backend architecture based on business and technical requirements.

- Develop data-processing and data-integration solutions.

- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services.

- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.

- Write clean, secure, tested, and maintainable backend code.

- Participate in code reviews and technical/architectural discussions.

- Work closely with engineering, QA, product, and other teams.

- Take ownership of technical tasks from planning through delivery.

Candidate Profile :

We are looking for candidates who have 5 - 10 years of relevant backend experience, strong practical SQL knowledge, solid backend architecture and system-design understanding, and hands-on experience building scalable backend services.

.NET/C# experience is optional, so candidates with strong Python/backend and SQL experience can also be considered.
