Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java-based technologies and proven experience in the Capital Markets or Banking domain.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend systems and contributing to architecture, design, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and high-performance REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot

- Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions

- Work on messaging systems such as Kafka and implement asynchronous processing

- Ensure system performance, security, scalability, and reliability

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps

- Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions

- Perform code reviews and maintain high coding standards

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis

- Mentor junior developers and guide best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend development

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL

- Must have experience in Capital Market or Banking applications

- Proven experience building and scaling RESTful APIs

- Experience with Kafka / messaging queues / event-driven architecture

- Strong understanding of server-side architecture, performance tuning, and security

- Experience with relational databases and query optimization

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies

- Experience working in on-premise and cloud environments

- Strong debugging and production support skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
