Job Title : Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of core backend systems. This role involves designing scalable architectures, building high-performance APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product features. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in backend development, system design, and production-grade systems, along with a passion for building efficient and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend systems and microservices

- Build and maintain robust, high-performance REST APIs

- Drive system architecture and design decisions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature delivery

- Ensure code quality, system performance, and reliability in production

Required Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in backend development

- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (microservices architecture preferred)

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and distributed systems

- Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization

- Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch

- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in production-scale systems

Preferred Qualifications :

- Background in SaaS, SalesTech, or data-driven platforms

- Experience with event-driven systems (SQS, Kinesis, Kafka, etc.)

- Exposure to AWS cloud and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor) for development efficiency
