About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who is strong in designing, developing, and scaling backend systems using Java or Golang.

In this role, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor developers, and own delivery of backend services that power large-scale enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Engineering & Architecture :

- Architect and develop backend services using Java / Golang

- Own design of scalable, secure and high-performance APIs and microservices

- Ensure clean, modular code using industry best practices and design patternS

Technical Leadership :

- Lead technical discussions and influence engineering decisions

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Performance & Reliability :

- Build systems with high availability and fault tolerance

- Ensure end-to-end CI/CD, automation, monitoring & observability

Quality & Delivery :

- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA & UI teams in Agile/Scrum setup

- Ensure timely delivery aligned with engineering standards

Must-Have Skills :

- 6- 9 years of backend development experience

- Strong hands-on experience in Java OR Golang

- Expertise in Spring Boot / Gin Framework

- Strong in RESTful API design & microservice architecture

- Solid understanding of OOPS, design principles & patterns

- Hands-on with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, etc.)

- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker

- Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS / Azure / GCP

- Strong unit testing experience (JUnit / Mockito / similar frameworks)

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with Jaeger / distributed tracing

- Kubernetes, container orchestration

- GraphQL exposure

- Knowledge of secure coding standards, OAuth, JWT

- Experience in highly scalable enterprise SaaS environments

- Ability to own technical roadmap & drive improvements

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical & problem-solving ability

- Ability to mentor and lead teams technically

- Excellent stakeholder communication skills

- Independent ownership of modules / delivery

Education :

- B.Tech / B.E / B.Sc / BCA / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
