Job Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong Java Spring expertise and a proven background in designing scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, working closely with clients, and contributing to the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and databases with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

- Define and maintain well-documented, versioned APIs for both internal and external consumption.

- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with industry best practices and standards.

- Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality and reliability.

- Lead and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and ensure long-term resolutions.

- Own and manage system observability using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.

- Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure platform stability.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams for smooth deployments using AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and related cloud infrastructure tools.

- Engage in on-call rotations to maintain high availability and provide rapid incident response.

- Communicate and coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams, understanding and translating requirements into technical solutions.

- Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and contribute to architectural improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of backend development experience.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and backend performance optimization.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, especially EKS and Kubernetes for deployments.

- Proficiency with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.

- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with other backend languages or frameworks.

- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Helm.
