Role Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Architect with deep expertise in Python who can technically lead internal projects, drive architecture decisions, and mentor engineering teams. This role demands a sharp, hands-on technologist who can design scalable systems, solve complex backend challenges, and act as a technical anchor for the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead backend architecture, system design, and high-level technical decisions

- Architect and develop large-scale, high-performance backend services

- Oversee end-to-end technical execution of internal projects

- Review code, enforce best practices, and guide development teams

- Collaborate with product, DevOps, and leadership teams on strategic engineering initiatives

- Ensure system scalability, security, performance, and reliability

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive long-term solutions

- Mentor junior and mid-level developers

Technical Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in Python-based backend development

- Strong command over frameworks like Django / Flask / FastAPI

- Expertise in architecting distributed systems and microservices

- Deep understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching, messaging systems

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, API design

- Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures

Preferred Skills :

- Experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical architect

- Strong documentation and communication skills

- Exposure to event-driven architectures and advanced design patterns
