Role : Senior Azure Web Architect

About the Job :

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Azure Web Architect with 8+ years of relevant experience to join our remote team in India.

You will be pivotal in designing, architecting, and implementing robust and scalable web and e-commerce solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Your deep expertise in web applications, Azure DevOps, and seamless integration with leading e-commerce platforms like Shopify and commerce tools will be crucial to our success.

This role demands a strong technical leader who is not only strategic but also deeply involved in the implementation, particularly with Node.js, React, Next.js, Fastify, Platformatic, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement highly scalable and resilient web and e-commerce solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.

- Lead the seamless integration of Shopify and commercetools platforms with backend services and other enterprise systems, utilizing their respective APIs and webhooks.

- Design and build robust and efficient Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.

- Take ownership of optimizing application performance, implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions, and ensuring robust security measures are in place.

- Collaborate effectively across development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver high-quality and secure solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on Azure best practices and architectural patterns.

- Define and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and/or Azure Bicep for consistent and automated infrastructure provisioning.

- Design and implement containerized solutions using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Implement and manage API Management solutions for secure and scalable API access.

- Design and implement integration workflows using Azure Logic Apps for seamless data exchange between systems.

- CI/CD : Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.

- E-commerce Integration : Strong experience integrating with Shopify and commerce tools platforms (APIs, webhooks).

- Full-stack Expertise : Comprehensive understanding of full-stack development principles and hands-on experience with the listed technologies.

- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) : Expertise in using Terraform, ARM templates, and/or Azure Bicep for infrastructure automation.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

- API Management : Experience implementing and managing API Management solutions.

- Integration : Experience with Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation.

Experience :

- 8+ years of relevant experience in web application architecture and development.

- Significant experience architecting and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.

- Proven experience integrating with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and commerce tools
