We are seeking a Senior Azure Security Engineer with proven experience managing and securing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. The role will focus on establishing cloud security standards, safeguarding sensitive data, and enabling secure adoption of advanced Azure services.

Role & Responsibilities :

Azure & O365 Security Governance:

- Define and enforce Azure and O365 security policies, standards, and guardrails aligned to industry frameworks

- Implement governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, and compliance controls

- Ensure secure configuration baselines across cloud environments

Security Tools & Platform Management :

- Manage and optimize Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Key Vault, Firewall, and Microsoft 365 Defender

- Implement threat protection, monitoring, and alerting strategies

- Continuously improve security posture using built-in tools and analytics

Advanced Azure Workloads Security :

- Secure Azure AI services including model protection, APIs, and data pipelines

- Protect Azure Cognitive Search and Document Intelligence workloads handling sensitive data

- Implement security for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) including container security, network policies, and runtime protection

Microsoft 365 Security :

- Implement Exchange Online Protection, DLP, sensitivity labels, and insider risk management

- Configure MFA and conditional access policies

- Secure collaboration tools including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

Monitoring & Incident Response :

- Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across Azure and O365

- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis

- Implement remediation and preventive measures

DevSecOps & Automation :

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security in CI/CD pipelines

- Automate governance and compliance checks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform

- Embed security controls in application development lifecycle

Mandatory Skills :

- 5+ years of cloud security experience with 3+ years in Azure/O365

- Expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, conditional access, and PIM

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools including Defender suite, DLP, and identity protection

- Experience in incident response and cloud security remediation

Preferred Skills :

- Certifications such as AZ-500, SC-100, MS-500 or equivalent

- Experience securing Azure AI, AKS, or similar advanced workloads

- Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud environments
