Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Engineer (DevOps & Database) to lead the design, build, and management of our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, with a specific focus on Windows-based application hosting, SQL Server database engineering, and DevOps delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, provision, and manage dedicated Microsoft Azure environments, including Windows Server VMs, WildFly application server, SQL Server, and Spark Gateway.

- Build, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

- Own SQL Server setup, configuration, and management, including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and HTTPS enforcement.

- Support the migration of Oracle-based customers to SQL Server.

- Enforce Azure and application-layer security best practices.

- Automate environment provisioning and configuration management.

- Perform release activities and respond to infrastructure incidents.

Tech Stack & Requirements:

- 6+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and database engineering.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, Networking, Storage, DevOps pipelines, CLI, Load Balancer, Key Vault).

- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server administration and WildFly (JBoss) application server.

- Solid SQL Server experience (installation, configuration, performance tuning, TDE).

- Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

- Strong scripting ability in PowerShell and/or Python.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
